Video Parsing FAQ
Common guidance on video links, parsing failures, privacy, and content permissions.
Which links can be parsed?
Try public, active share links that point to video content on a supported platform.
Why can a public link still fail?
Expired short links, regional restrictions, platform changes, or temporary network issues may prevent parsing.
Are private or paid videos supported?
No. QuickClip does not bypass login, payment, privacy, or other access controls.
Will my submitted URL become public?
No. Parsing uses a POST request, and inputs are not added to titles, canonical URLs, or the sitemap.
Are results stored permanently?
Results appear only in the current browser page and do not create an indexable result address.
